May 2021 Service Modifications
Division of IT offices will be closed Monday, May 31, 2021 in observance of Memorial Day. We will reopen on Tuesday, June 1, 2021. Additional service modifications for May are listed below. IT Service Desk (301.405.1500) and Campus Information Services (301.405.1000) The Service Desk call center will be closed on Sunday, May 9 in observance of Mother's Day. The Service Desk call center will also be closed on Monday, May 31 in observance of Memorial Day.

Innovations in Teaching and Learning Conference 2021
The 26th annual Innovations in Teaching and Learning Conference conference is going virtual this year! The Division of Information Technology and the Teaching and Learning Transformation Center will host two half days of synchronous keynotes, panel discussions and networking opportunities, in addition to an asynchronous gallery of digital stories and poster presentations.
Terrapin Tech Expo
DIT will host a virtual Terrapin Tech Expo on April 14, 2021 to show off some of what we can do for university community members! The expo showcases resources from the Division of IT as well as some of the commonly used vendors such as Dell, Apple, LinkedIn Learning, and more. Student Technology Fee Proposal Period
UMD community members, especially students, are invited to submit proposals for using Student Technology Fee funds online before 5 p.m. on Friday, April 30, 2021. Each year, a portion of Student Technology Fee funds is allocated to award projects proposed by UMD community members. Successful proposals should aim at providing strategic enhancements to campus-wide IT services. Please review the proposal guidelines for more information.
