Important Cybersecurity Reminder and Task

Cybersecurity is one of the most important risks an organization faces. Every university device is a link in the chain, and our security is only as strong as the weakest link. Accordingly, every university-issued device must have endpoint detection and response (EDR) software (also known as malware detection software) installed.

Scheduled Outage of IT Services March 16, 2026

On Monday, March 16, 2026 between 6 a.m. and 2 p.m., DIT will conduct a set of disaster recovery network resiliency tests that could cause intermittent service interruptions.

Default Retention Time for Chat Tools

Portfolium and Canvas ePortfolio will be removed and replaced with a new tool called Canvas Portfolio in 2026.
