Division of IT offices will be closed Monday-Tuesday, March 16-17, 2026. We will reopen on Wednesday, March 18, 2026.
There may be outages of some IT services 6 a.m. through 2 p.m. Monday, March 16 for disaster recovery testing and some additional networking outages on campus between noon on Monday, March 16 and 4 a.m. Wednesday, March 18 for network infrastructure update activities.
Additional service modifications are listed below.
IT Service Desk and Campus Information Services
The Service Desk (301.405.1500) and Campus Information Services (301.405.1000) call center will have the following schedule during Spring Break:
- March 14-15: open noon-4 p.m.
- March 16-17: closed
- March 18-20: open 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
- March 21-22: open noon-4 p.m.
Regular hours will resume Monday, March 23.
Terrapin Tech
Terrapin Tech (PTX 0100-walk-in support) will close at 5 p.m. on Friday, March 13 and will have the following additional schedule alterations during Spring Break:
- March 14-17: closed
- March 18-20: open 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
- March 21-22: closed
Regular hours will resume Monday, March 23.
Classroom Support Office
The Classroom Support office (301.405.2500) will close at 5 p.m. on Friday, March 13 and remain closed through Sunday March 22.
Regular hours will resume Monday, March 23.
Production Services
CICS - service for MVS users:
- Monday, March 16 - normal Sunday Service
- Tuesday, March 17 - normal holiday service
Production Control
Production Control will be closed Monday and Tuesday, March 16 and 17. If you have an emergency during the break, please contact Computer Operations (301-405-1093) and they will contact the on-call person if needed.
