Some DIT services will have modified hours during Winter Session. Additionally, most of the division will be closed on Monday, January 19 in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

To support the digital accessibility of course materials, many resources are available, and more will be developed.

Division of IT offices will be closed Wednesday-Friday, November 26-28 for the university's Thanksgiving break. Some will also have adjusted hours earlier in the week.

Portfolium and Canvas ePortfolio will be removed and replaced with a new tool called Canvas Portfolio in 2026.

The UMD Digital Accessibility Advisory Committee has developed interim guidelines and resources to assist with making UMD digital resources accessible by the April 2026 ADA deadline.
