TERPmail Message Filtering Changes
DIT has updated the spam filtering settings on UMD’s TERPmail system to reduce the likelihood of a phishing message sent from another TERPmail account reaching other TERPmail inboxes.

UMD Zoom Web Interface Redesign
Beginning September 30, UMD Zoom's web interface will have a new design, similar to the Zoom desktop app.
New System for UMD Account Management
On August 10, 2026, UMD will launch a new account management platform for self-service account management functions such as activating new accounts, changing passphrases, and updating MFA settings. August 6-10, updates to UMD account information will be delayed, and UMD community members will not be able to create new DUO MFA bypass codes or register new hardware tokens.
