The Division of Information Technology wishes you a restful Winter Break and productive new year.
DIT offices will be closed Friday, December 23 through Monday, January 2. We will reopen on Tuesday, January 3, 2023. In addition, some services will have modified hours leading up to the break (including some for finals week).
IT Service Desk (301.405.1500) and Campus Information Services (301.405.1000)
The Service Desk call center will operate with reduced winter hours Tuesday, December 13 through Tuesday, January 24. The reduced hours will be 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Friday and noon-4 p.m Saturday and Sunday.
On Friday, December 23, the Service Desk and Campus Information will be open 10 a.m.-2 p.m. On Saturday, December 24 and Sunday, December 25, Saturday, December 31, and Sunday, January 1, the Service Desk and Campus Information will be closed.
Additionally, Monday, December 26 through Friday, December 30 and Monday, January 2, the Service Desk and Campus Information will be open noon-4 p.m.
Normal business hours (8 a.m.-10 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday, noon-4 p.m. Saturday-Sunday) will resume on Wednesday, January 25.
Classroom Support
Classroom Support will operate with reduced hours leading up to Winter Break:
- December 13 (Reading Day): closed
- December 14-17: 7:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.
- December 18: closed
- December 19-20: 7:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.
- December 21-23: Closed
Winter business hours resume on Tuesday, January 3 and run through Tuesday, January 24: Monday-Thursday 7:30 a.m.-7:30 p.m., Friday 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Terrapin Tech
Terrapin Tech (Edward St. John Learning & Teaching Center--computer sales and support) will operate with reduced finals hours Tuesday, December 13 through Tuesday, December 20. The reduced hours will be 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Friday. In addition, Terrapin Tech will operate with reduced winter hours Wednesday, December 21 through Tuesday, January 24. Winter hours will be 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday.
Terrapin Tech will be closed Friday, December 23-Monday, January 2.
Normal business hours (8:30 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday-Friday) will resume on Wednesday, January 25.
Production Services
CICS - service for MVS users:
- Saturday, December 24 – normal Saturday service
- Sunday, December 25 – normal Sunday service
- Saturday, December 31 – normal Saturday service
- Sunday, January 1 – normal Sunday service
- All other days – normal holiday service
