Canvas Credentials, the UMD Digital Badging service, will be rebranded as “Parchment Digital Badges” on October 31, 2025. Within the platform, all functionality will remain the same, and your ability to issue badges will not be impacted. Learners will still be able to view and retrieve any digital badges or awards they have earned.
Those who access the tool from a web browser or from an ELMS-Canvas integration, should simply notice a new landing page and URL at the top when signing in.
