At 7 a.m. on Thursday, March 2, 2023, Division of IT staff will make a change to the University of Maryland’s GlobalProtect VPN service so that UMD community members will use their device’s default web browser to log in instead of GlobalProtect’s embedded browser.

Morphic, which provides easier access to many computer accessibility features, is now available at UMD via TERPware.

All faculty and staff, including research assistants and graduate assistants, are required to complete “Defend Your Shell 2023” training before March 6, 2023.

Some changes to Panopto are scheduled for January 10 to optimize institutional storage space and implement an archiving process for unviewed videos.

Some DIT services have adjusted schedules during Winter Session.

DIT offices will be closed Friday, December 23 through Monday, January 2. Additional service modifications (including some for finals week) are listed.
