The 26th annual Innovations in Teaching and Learning Conference conference is going virtual this year! The Division of Information Technology and the Teaching and Learning Transformation Center will host two half days of synchronous keynotes, panel discussions and networking opportunities, in addition to an asynchronous gallery of digital stories and poster presentations.
The ITL conference showcases the accomplishments of the College Park instructional community. In an unprecedented year of change and challenges, so many instructors found inspirational ways to innovate the design and delivery of education for university students. New or adapted engagement and assessment strategies enabled students to continue to communicate with one another and their instructors and to demonstrate academic proficiencies gained through synchronous and independent learning opportunities. Many faculty this past year were able to transform their courses with assistance provided by the Provost's Innovation in Teaching and Learning grants, as well as training offered through the Teaching and Learning Transformation Center "design sprints" and DIT instructional technology webinars, and countless hours of consultation and coaching by TLTC, DIT Learning Technology Design and college-based instructional designers. The conference seeks to share the fruits of the labor of our creative and committed faculty since the word "Covid" turned our academic world upside down.
