ATEX presents at the Women Advance IT conference

In November 2019, members of the ATEX lab and DIT's Senior IT Accessibility and UX Specialist, Ana Palla-Kane, presented at the Women Advance IT conference at the University of Lincoln-Nebraska. The conference highlights the contributions of women in the field of IT. Our presentation focused on information we learned from student and instructor survey responses about personal technology bans in the classroom and how to incorporate technology into a class session (or not) in ways that include all students.
