Timothy Shortall

Tim leads the team that provides wide area networking for Mid-Atlantic Crossroads. MAX is a Research and Education Network (REN) operating twelve Points of Presence (PoPs) in the DMV area that supports high-bandwidth and advanced network service such as DDoS to MAX members in the research, education, government and non-profit sectors. MAX also manages one of the thirteen DNS root servers with a global presence of servers in over 125 countries. The team has completed a network upgrade that can support 800G at the core and 400G at the edge.
