The Division of Information Technology wishes you a restful Winter Break and productive new year.
DIT offices will be closed Wednesday, December 23 through Sunday, January 3. We will reopen on Monday, January 4, 2021.
IT Service Desk (301.405.1500) and Campus Information Services (301.405.1000)
The Service Desk call center will operate with reduced winter hours Monday, December 21 through Friday, January 22. The reduced hours will be 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. Monday - Friday and noon - 4 p.m Saturday and Sunday.
Additionally, on Monday, December 28, Tuesday, December 29 and Wednesday, December 30 from noon - 4 p.m., Service Desk staff will respond to tickets received via email and voicemail only.
Normal business hours (8 a.m. - 10 p.m. Monday - Thursday and 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. Friday, noon - 4 p.m. Saturday - Sunday) will resume on Saturday, January 23.
Classroom Support will operate with reduced hours leading up to Winter Break:
- December 15 (Reading Day): closed
- December 16 - 19: 7:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.
- December 20: closed
- December 21: 7:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.
- December 22: 7:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Classroom Support will be closed for the winter sessions.
Terrapin Tech (1221 McKeldin - computer sales and support) will operate with reduced winter hours Monday, December 21 through Friday, January 22. The reduced hours will be 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. Monday - Friday.
Normal business hours (8 a.m. - 10 p.m. Monday - Thursday, 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. Friday) will resume on Monday, January 25.
CICS - service for MVS users:
- Saturday, December 26 – normal Saturday service
- Sunday, December 27 – normal Sunday service
- Saturday, January 2 – normal Saturday service
- Sunday, January 3 – normal Sunday service
- All other days – normal holiday service
ARES - service for Web Administrative Applications:
- Normal service
TESTUDO - service for Web Student Applications:
- Normal service
