The Division of Information Technology wishes you a restful Winter Break and productive new year.
DIT offices will be closed Friday, December 21 through Tuesday, January 1. We will reopen on Wednesday, January 2, 2019.
IT Service Desk (301.405.1500) and Campus Information Services (301.405.1000)
The Service Desk call center will operate with reduced winter hours Tuesday, December 18 through Friday, January 25. The reduced hours will be 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday - Friday.
Additionally, the Service Desk will close at 5 p.m. on Thursday, December 20 for the holiday break and will reopen at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, January 2. On Wednesday, December 26, Thursday, December 27 and Friday, December 28 from 9 - 11 a.m. and 2 - 5 p.m., Service Desk staff will respond to tickets received via email and voicemail only.
Normal business hours (8 a.m. - 10 p.m. Monday - Thursday and 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. Friday) will resume on Monday, January 28.
Classroom Support will operate with reduced hours leading up to Winter Break:
- December 11 (Reading Day): closed
- December 12 - 15: 7:30 a.m. - 8 p.m.
- December 16: closed
- December 17 - 18: 7:30 a.m. - 8 p.m.
- December 19 - 24: closed
Winter business hours resume on Tuesday, January 2 and run through Friday, January 25: Monday - Thursday 7:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m., Fridays 7:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Terrapin Tech (1221 McKeldin - computer sales and support) will operate with reduced winter hours Tuesday, December 18 through Friday, January 25. The reduced hours will be 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday - Friday.
Additionally, Terrapin Tech will close at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 20 for the holiday break and will reopen at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, January 2.
Normal business hours (8 a.m. - 10 p.m. Monday - Thursday, 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. Friday, noon - 10 p.m. Sunday) will resume on Monday, January 28.
CICS - service for MVS users:
- Saturday, December 22 and December 29 – normal Saturday service
- Sunday, December 23 and December 30 – normal Sunday service
- All other days – normal holiday service
ARES - service for Web Administrative Applications:
- Normal service
TESTUDO - service for Web Student Applications:
- Normal service
